Three months ago, I had a short, but very interesting experience while photographing two hybrids. I’m not talking about the Prius or the Auris, I’m talking about much much much better version of the Toyota. My colleague and I got a chance to test two cars produced by the Lexus – a fast and exciting limousine – IS 300h, and probably the best looking SUV on the market – NX 300h.
Read more about these two cars in the 58th issue of AutoIQ magazine!
These are the details of the Lexus IS 300h:
I’ve driven hybrids before, but this experience was something else.
These are the details of the Lexus NX 300h:
Since I started photographing for the AutoIQ magazine, I have driven cars which were a magnet on the streets, everybody would turn around and look at them. These two cars are the magnets from different planets. At one moment, a school instructor pulled over me (while I was in the IS) and blocked the entire road to ask a couple of questions about the car. He said it was his dream car and it would be his dream come true if he had this car.
Images were taken in Zapresic (near Zagreb) and on the way there.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have more time to drive them (I mean, how much time would be “enough”?!) and photograph them, so I can’t say I’m too happy with the images, but considering the time I had, I have to say that I’m satisfied (it always can be better, ALWAYS!).
If I can remember, I’ve driven only a couple of cars which are more exciting than these ones and one those are two Bentley’s I’ve driven last year.
I won’t talk more, I just hope you’ll enjoy the images as I enjoyed driving them.
