After exactly one month, I visited Istria again! This time, I went to Porec to photograph the e-Go event, and the same day I went back to Zagreb. My colleague from the AutoIQ Magazine and I went there because the magazine was one of the media partners, so we had to cover that.
We drove more than 500 kilometers in one day, but it wasn’t so difficult since we had a nice car to drive there – Subaru XV. Not exactly an eco car as you would expect, since we were going there to cover an event for hybrids and electric cars, but we weren’t complaining!
While driving, the rain was making us drive really slowly, but look at that BEAUTIFUL rainbow I photographed on the highway Zagreb-Rijeka!
Before I went to the conference, I walked around the beautiful Hotel Laguna Parentum and photographed a couple of things.
The first things I’ve photograph were test cars… As you can see, there were two Tesla’s, one Toyota Prius, Renault ZOE and e-Golf, and an really interesting electric Mazda5!
The only “homemade” electric car there was this Mazda 5 (which was, of course, converted into electric car) with a range over 800km!
And, the biggest stars were, as expected, two cars from Tesla motors.
After cars, I went for a short walk around the hotel to capture a couple of nature shots, and I got a couple of nice ones, especially those sea landscapes!

Time for the conference! The moderator was Croatian entrepreneur Sasa Cvetojevic, who owns one Tesla (with the INSAKO registration plates)… I attended three panels, unfortunately I didn’t have time for more, and these images are from the first one I attended.
Well, the job was done, it was time for the drive back to Zagreb!
Since we were driving on the old road, and not on a highway, we stopped next to the Zrinski-Frankopan castle to capture two or three photos of XV next to the castle.
