My first encounter with the Mercedes GLE was in October 2015, and I would say that I was impressed with the car itself. Since it is a successor of the, we could say a legendary, ML Class, it was a big deal for me! I can’t remember the price, but you would guess correct if you say that it was damn expensive. Too expensive? Well, probably not since it offers so much!
But, I’m not here to talk about that GLE, the black one, this is a post about the last one I had – the white one.
The black one was loaded with equipment, but what would you say if I tell you that the white one has – wait for it – 50.000 of euros of EQUIPMENT! The car itself is around 100.000 euros, and if you want to load it with a lot of interesting gadgets and what ever you wish for it, it costs a bit more than 150.000 of euros. That’s sick.
Since most of those 50.000 of euros goes to the interior, let’s start with that.
Let’s go outside
It doesn’t have a million details around the car, but it has some really interesting things/signings that make you think: “Those designers really thought about everything!”
And that’s it
If you’re a regular reader, you know that I don’t spend much time writing, I love to focus on my images, and the 150.000 euros GLE isn’t an exception. I would only like to mention a couple of interesting facts about the car: it has 258 bhp powered by the V6 engine, 9-speed automatic gearbox, 4×4, max speed 212 km/h and it goes 0-100 km/h in 8,3 seconds.
It was a really special encounter. Would I buy it (if I had more than 150.000 euros to spend on a car)? Definitely not. It’s a great car, but I think that there are better options for that kind of money.
