Well, it’s time for a short announcement. It’s been a while since I was on a proper trip, far away from home and with equipment just next to me. The last time I was away more than a couple of days was back in 2016 when I decided to make a story about places in the northern part of Istria. That went well, as you can see on my website.

This time, I’m traveling a bit further – to Gothenburg (Sweden). I’m going on a vacation, but I’m determined to make many photos and create a couple of interesting photo stories, including one overall story.

But, there’s a “problem”. I put quotation marks because that may not be a problem. I’ve decided to risk everything and take only my two prime lenses with me. A few weeks ago I had three, but I decided to sell my Canon 85mm f/1.8, so I’m only with two Sigmas – the 24mm f/1.4 ART and the 50mm f/1.4. I’m thinking about the 70-200mm f/2.8, but I want to go as light as I can, and I know I won’t be doing any sports up there – just making stories.

No more Canon 85mm f/1.8!

This is the first time I’m going on a huge trip without some lenses, especially only with my prime lenses. I’m scared a bit, but still, it could be fun. Hopefully.

I’ll be uploading photos on my Instagram account, and when I come home, I’ll probably make a couple of posts for this website.

I’ll try to have my DSLR all the time with my, but when I’m not, I’ll try to make photos with my Samsung S7. That’s nice tool to have!

Wish me luck!
