Museum night 2017: My favorite images from the tour around museums

On January 27th, I visited six museums within the event called Night of museums. There were 230 museums, galleries, etc. around Croatia, which joined this cool manifestation, but I had time for only five or six, and I went for six. My choices were: Memorial apartment of Marija Juric Zagorka (very known writer and journalist from Zagreb), Archaeological Museum, HAZU (Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts), HT museum with the exhibition Mobile revolution 1991-2016, Technical Museum Nikola Tesla and the Confucius Institute at the University of Zagreb with the exhibition about the Chinese rock'n'roll and alternative music. Last weekend, with a huge ceremony in the center of Zagreb, Advent in Zagreb finally started! At first, I was at the King Tomislav square, just next to the main railway station, where the ice skating area, called Ice Park, was opened. For a couple of days I've been hearing about the Pink Wing, the tour of the super fast and super expensive cars. Unfortunately, because of my work, I couldn't take any photos of those cars, until yesterday. During the morning, I saw on Facebook that cars were already parked in front of the Croatian national theatre, and since my shift was starting at 11am, I decided to go a bit earlier and take a couple of photos. This year’s Zagreb Pride 2016 was organised under the slogan “Croatia Has Not Yet Fallen!”

After hitting 8.55k on a morning run, it was time to burn more kilometers while photographing Zagreb Pride 2016. The gathering point was in front of the Museum Mimara, and the ending celebration was in the Park Ribnjak. The theme of this year's pride was "To protect hard-won freedom for us all" and the slogan was "Croatia Has Not Yet Fallen!".
