Wings for Life 2017: Challenge for the runner and for the storyteller

I started running on the Christmas eve back in 2015, and I fell in love with it very fast. Since then, I’ve attended only one race, and it was the Zagreb half marathon (in 2016; also, it’s worth mentioning that I’m already signed up for the Zagreb half marathon 2017 in October). I haven’t planned on going to Zadar to run the Wings for Life 2017 only because it was a bit far from Zagreb, and I didn’t know how to pull that off.

I left my DSLR at home and decided to take photos with my S7

Last weekend, on Saturday, my friends and I decided to go to the Queen’s Well, which is well known among┬áthe people who live in Zagreb as a popular place on the Medvednica hill. It takes about an hour (we walked around 45 minutes) of walking after you park your car. Since I usually don’t take my camera with me on this field trips, and since I wanted to make a couple of photos while I was there, I remembered the last post I did with my smartphone, so I decided to use my Samsung S7 as my main camera.

The Venus and the Moon alignment taken with my smartphone while driving

And no, I wasn’t driving the car. This is one of those unplanned posts which occurred somewhere on the highway between Osijek and Zagreb (near the small place called Okucani). Since I wasn’t driving, I decided to take a couple of photos of an amazing sunset, and all of these images were taken with my smartphone (Samsung S7) without stopping the car…
