After nine long years, HNK Hajduk Split has beaten GNK Dinamo Zagreb on their own stadium, and if that wasn’t enough, that victory helped Rijeka (who is currently first in the championship) to have one hand on the championship title. Hajduk won my two goals (0:2), but I didn’t get a feeling that they were that much better than Dinamo.
On Friday, March 24th, 2017, I was on the qualification match for the World Cup in Russia in 2018, between Croatia and Ukraine. Well.. it wasn’t the most exciting match ever, which means I almost didn’t get any images. Fortunately, I got some interested “behind the scenes” match before the match, so I this post won’t look poor.
It’s been a while since I’ve photographed any sports, mostly because of the same reason I’ve been using for the last couple of months – Lice Grada. Well, since I had a reason to photograph this match, I’m just going to let you see the images. I forgot to say more about the match itself! It was the Handball Champions League between PPD Zagreb (Croatia) and IFK Kristianstad (Sweden) (26-23).
Another Champions League is behind us (almost, since Dinamo Zagreb didn’t enter the knockout phase, so it ended for me also), and it’s time for a short photo recap. Btw, there is one more matchday, but since I’m not photographing it, I don’t need to wait for that. Dinamo played in the group H against Juventus, Sevilla and Lyon, and after five matches, Dinamo has a total of – zero points. Here is the selection of my favourite photos from the three home matches.
