2016 has been a really interesting for me: for my personal life and for my career, but this time I’ll talk only about the career and about the photos. One of the biggest things was launching a website called Lice grada. I already wrote about it when I launched it, but to make the story short – it’s a website about Zagreb (written only in Croatian – for now) and it’s based on photographs. I had a six month plan for it, but in only a couple of weeks it DESTROYED my plans, it went over my craziest expectations and I got a media partner for it, broke the numbers with Facebook and Instagram followers and the visits on the websites were (and still are) crazy! I’ve always been a practical photographer: I had to have two lenses with me that cover the biggest focal range. Those two lenses were the 17-40mm f/4 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 (both Canon’s). There is a big gap between the 40 and the 70mm, but I would fill it with the 50mm f/1.4 from Sigma. I always had to have the widest and the longest focal length with me, just in case!
After a bad experience with the Talisman, the conditions for Megane weren’t promising either. This time I had a bit more time, but the weather forecast proved to be right – it was raining all the time! But, that didn’t stop me. My prime lenses, the 24mm f/1.4, the 50mm f/1.4 and the 85mm f/1.4 won a battle against the rain, and I have to say that I’m satisfied with the images.
