After nine long years, HNK Hajduk Split has beaten GNK Dinamo Zagreb on their own stadium, and if that wasn't enough, that victory helped Rijeka (who is currently first in the championship) to have one hand on the championship title. Riots during the GNK Dinamo Zagreb – Fola Esch match

Dinamo Zagreb played against Fola Esch in the 2nd Qualifying round of the Champions League in front of around 10.000 people. Everyone expected an easy win but the match ended tie, 1-1. Besides the very bad result, the biggest news was that the Bad Blue Boys didn’t come to the stadium, but they stayed out of the stadium and they sang songs and insulted the first man of Dinamo (Zdravko Mamic) and the coach (Zoran Mamic). Outside the biggest derby in Croatian football

Tonight we’ve witnessed something we haven’t seen for many seasons in the Croatian national league. The first man of Dinamo Zagreb, Zdravko Mamic, and the coach Zoran Mamic, were arrested which made fans very happy. Because of that, they’ve decided to come to the match after a long time. Bad Blue boys weren’t the only fans who decided to get back to the stadion, Torcida (Hajduk fans) also decided to come and support Hajduk Split. Tonight, there was around 25.000 fans on the Maksimir stadium. These are mostly images of the BBB going from the Kvaternik square to the Maksimir stadium, and there are a couple of photos from the stadium. Before the start, two fractions of the Bad Blue Boys got into a fight on the North stand, but the police stopped it very fast. (more…)...
