When I came to Gothenburg, one of the locations I had to visit was the Alvsborg Bridge. It is the 933 meter long suspension bridge over Gota alv. It was built in 1966, designed by Sven Olof Asplund, and it connects the north and the south part of the city.  (more…)...

The Hendrix graffiti is back on its bridge!

There are eleven bridges across Sava in the Zagreb area and only one of them has a cool nickname - Hendrix's bridge. The "official" name is the Green railway bridge, but the bridget got the name Hendrix's bridge because there was a graffiti saying "Hendrix" on it which was erased after the renovation of the bridge. After a while, the graffiti is back and the people of Zagreb are really happy because of it! There are rumors that the bridge will be renamed to Hendrix's bridge. (more…)...
