Since the AutoIQ story is long over, I have no more chance to photograph interesting cars and publish them. Most of the cars I’ve published in 2017 are from the archive, but a friend of mine got me a half an hour with the new Skoda Kodiaq. I couldn’t resist that, so I took my camera and only one lens (Sigma 24mm f/1.4 ART) and I went to capture a couple of photos. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time, and the car was a bit dirty, so I had to work with what I got.
As soon as I took the VW Tiguan, I took a couple of night images with my Sigma 24mm f/1.4, and you can find those images in the article I got a brand new VW Tiguan for a test, and since I had my 24mm with me…. The next day I went to take photos for the AutoIQ Magazine, but that wasn’t all. I had a meeting later, and I decided to go a bit earlier and take my two prime lenses (24mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.4) and take a couple of random shots. Here are the results.
Somewhere in the middle of May, I bought a new Sigma lens with a huge aperture – 24mm f/1.4 ART. Since I already own a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 for a couple of years, I knew that the quality exists and I wanted something a bit wider than the 50mm. So, after 24mm and 50mm? Probably 85mm, or even 100mm, but that’ll wait for some time.
