I had to take a couple of days off since I came from my vacation in Gothenburg, Sweden. I did the usual things for Lice Grada and WhyZagreb?, and after a while, I went for a photo walk around to city to make new topics for Lice Grada. Before I get to the photos, I wanted to share two things. First of all, in a two weeks time, I'll make a huge post about an even bigger announcement considering my career. A quick update on what’s going on + photos of Zagreb

After two days of the Lion's run and the Pink Wing, I stopped publishing here, and that was almost two months ago! Of course, it wasn't because I was lazy (well, I would say that that is one of the reasons), it's because all of my free time is spent working for my two other websites - the "flagship" Lice Grada (it celebrated its first birthday on August 1st) and the Why Zagreb? The statue of „Kumica Barica“ on the farmers market Dolac

Dolac is the oldest and the most known market in Zagreb, and its also known as a place where old ladies (Croats call them "kumice") sell their homegrown products. Because of that, an artist Stjepan Gracan made a sculpture in 2006. in honor of those old ladies who come there during high or low temperatures, rain or shine - nothing can stop them from coming to their "work station". Honorary Kravat regiment celebrated its birthday

Honorary Kravat regiment today celebrated their day. The main celebration was held on the place Dolac, where is market usually located. Guard shift is a pretty cool event especially now when a tourist season is starting. It’s a new project of the Zagreb Tourist Board in collaboration with the institution Academica Cravatica who jointly created a new tourism program – changing of the guard company Honorary Kravat regiment.
