In the last couple of years, Zagreb became well known for its known, and unknown, amazing murals around the city. I’ve prepared a post about a few of those…

I’ll put links to the article with more images and text, if you understand Croatian language, be sure to check it out.

These two murals are one of the oldest on this list, it’s a shell and a waterfall, and they are a couple of hundred meters away from each other. The Shell was created by the known Croatian artist Lonac, and the Waterfall was created in 2013. by the author called Miron Milic.

After these two, I’m going to present you one of the newest murals located in the Pierottijeva street, just behind the hotel Westin. Authors are, already mentioned Lonac, and CHEZ 186. The mural is called Technicolor dream and it is really a masterpiece!

It’s time to go to the Upper City! These last murals are really close to each other, they are only a dozen meters away from each other.

The first one is also the newest. It’s a mural of the Croatian inventors Slavoljub Penkala and Nikola Tesla, by the authors Domingo, Modul and Bare.

Of course, there are many interesting murals worth seeing, and as soon as I photograph more of them, I’ll publish them. Don’t forget to check out the website Lice grada where you can see more stories like this one.
